Aubrey A. King, Jr. (Junie), age 54 of Ashland, Va departed this life on December 15, 2025, at the Ashland Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.  He was born on December 14, 1971. He was predeceased by his parents, Aubrey A. King, Sr. and Leona Lewis King.

He joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Beaverdam, Va at an early age.  He attended Hanover County public schools.  Over the years, Aubrey held several jobs.  His most recent employment was with Ervin's Carwash and Detailing and Beautiful Bodies Auto & Truck.  He was a member of the Ashland Moose Lodge where he spent some time helping out when he could.

A few of Aubrey's favorite things that he didn't mind letting you know what to bring him when you came to visit were all kinds of snacks, pizza, spaghetti, fish and especially fried chicken, with the request that he didn't want a 2-piece snack, he wanted a 3-piece with all the fix ins; his football team was none other than the Chicago Bears.

Aubrey is survived by his brother, Wilbur (Opie) Lewis and nephew, Ryan Burton. He is also survived by aunts; Mattie Eberhardt, Barbara Lewis, Helen Harris, Theresita Pleasants-Lewis and Ella Mae Lewis; uncle, Matthew Lewis; godmother, Jackie Lightfoot; numerous cousins and many friends.
