Carl Sylvester Dandridge, Sr. was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 4, 2026 peacefully at his home in King William, Virginia where he was born and raised. Carl was born on December 27, 1962. He was preceded in death by his parents Alexander and Mary Dandridge, brother Alexander Dandridge, Jr and beloved granddaughter Carlie Lynn Dandridge.

Carl attended King William High School and remained faithful to his hometown and his lifelong friends in King William. Carl's health challenges never kept him down.

He enjoyed playing dominoes, dancing and watching his beloved Redskins. Even after being on dialysis for over 30 years, he knew where his strength came from. He always said that he knew it was the blood of Jesus that kept him. He will be forever missed and never forgotten.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son Carl Dandridge, Jr (Megan), daughter Rachelle Dandridge, grandchildren Keshaun Butler, Zarren Dandridge, Raiden Berkeley and Xavier Dandridge, brothers Alvis Dandridge and Therman Hill, sisters Debbie Dandridge and Angela Dandridge, devoted aunt Vivian (Sis) Roane, and devoted special friend Rachel McNeely. He also leaves behind beloved aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
