Jimmy's race

Carol Lee brooks Jr. better know as "jimmy" age 68 passed away surrounded by family at his bedside on April 5, 2025. He was born on July 26 1956, to the late Carol and Dorothy brooks. He formally worked in delivery and mechanic work. His passion for cars, cooking and his beloved Indianapolis colts was evident whenever someone spoke to him. He was proceeded in death by his parents, the late Carol and Dorothy brooks. Brothers; Anthony brooks, Franklin Jones Sr. and Joyce Brooks(Jesse).

Carol is survived by his wife Gloria brooks who he was with for 45 years. His eight (8) children, sons; Angelo Chandler, Antonia Chandler(Katrina) and Alonzo Chandler(Tyanna). Daughters; Lakeisha Gamble(Jeremy), Jacqueline Chandler, Jameka Chandler(Dante), Jernell Chandler & Jashalle Chandler (Fraquan), 25 grandkids, 9 great grandkids, brothers; Roger Brooks(Nichelle), Calvin Brooks(Laverne), 3 aunts, 2 brother-in-laws, 4 sister-in-laws and a mother-in-law. Devoted nephew; Jesse Brooks III; devoted friends; Anthony Banks & Ellis Harris. He was a friend to many and loved by all, a life well lived as his comical spirit will live on, he will be missed dearly.
