Charles Elwood Cauthorne, 76, of Hanover, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 23rd, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Conway & Minnie Bell Cauthorne, his son Charels E Cauthron Jr., and all of his siblings except for one.

He is survived by his partner, Dorothy Orosco, his sister, Margaret Edwards, his three sons, Richard, Joe, and Charles, his two daughters Christina and Savannah, and his granddaughter, Alexis (Cliff).

Charles was born in Beaverdam, Virginia, moved from there to, Stanleys farm in Ashland, Virginia. As a young child he would always help his father working on the farm, that is where he found his love of chickens. Charles had several jobs, however, his true calling was being an auto-mechanic; Charles could fix anything you put in front of his face.

He loved to work on cars and allowed his creativity to shine through in all that he created.
Charles had a strong, undying love for his children & family. Although he is gone from this world, he will forever remain in our hearts.
