Daisy Mae Garrison, age 84, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Born on April 23, 1942, in King William, Daisy was the beloved daughter of Daisy Smith and Jake Smith. She resided in King William until 1990, after which she made Richmond her home for the remainder of her life.

At an early age, Daisy accepted Christ as her Savior and became a faithful member of Rock Spring Baptist Church, where she nurtured her faith throughout her life. She devoted herself to her family as a homemaker, providing love, guidance, and unwavering support to those she cherished.

Daisy will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and deep love for her family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother whose legacy lives on through the generations she helped shape and inspire.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory nine children, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other loving relatives and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Though she has departed this earthly life, her love, wisdom, and faith will remain a lasting source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.

Daisy leaves to cherish her memory her three brothers, Henry Smith, Thomas Smith, and Wayne Smith; three sisters, Rosa Andrews, Linda Smith, and Mary Epps; five sons, Darrell, Milton, Alphonso, Timothy, and Jerry; three daughters, Lisa, Diane, and Deborah; one daughter-in-law, Patricia Garrison; one son-in-law, Quintin Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
