On behalf of my sister and I, we would like to express a heart felt thank you to friends and family who have taken time to remember our father in his passing. i would ask that all who were touch by our father's presence, try to find solace in the fact that he passed as he lived; in an ordered and dignified manner. Our father will be missed not just for all he was but also for all that he could have been. Although his time from our perspective seemed short, it was in fact right on time in the eyes of the most high. This truth right now may be difficult to process but through faith we will trust in it and find the strength to carry on. In closing, we thank you all for support during this difficult and perplexing time; and for those in the know, try to find an answe to the question posited so well by Pastor Howard at oour father's homegoing... "what will you do when the music stops?". God bless you all... and Dad rest well.
- Danny T. Wade Jr
To the Wade family, keep your hands in God's hand. only he can give us peace and understanding at this time. my best friend and my brother has gone home .I will miss him , his phone calls, his laughter and most of all us sharing memories of our old band days just two trumpet players holding it down!

Brother Danny entered into my life when he decided to join the quartet "The Son's Of Faith". I then convinced him to be the musician for the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Men's chorus in Stafford Va. Although Danny at first was not familiar with most traditional gospel songs, we worked tirelessly together until he became one of our most gifted musicians. He then went on to play for all the choirs of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Danny and myself spent a lot of time breaking bread together at many eating places and attended many of my Family's cookouts. I will miss you my dear friend. Rest in the Lord and get your well deserve reward.

My condolences to the Wade family. Danny and I grew up together, will remember the fun we had in the old neighborhood. We also served together in the United States Army.
