Obituary for David Waller

David Waller, 87 of Beaverdam, Va passed Saturday, November 9, 2019. He was a devoted husband, stepfather, step-grandfather and step great grandfather. Uncle and friend.

David had a smile that would brighten any room and anyone he came in contact with. He will greatly be missed. David was born on June 22nd, 1932 in Beaverdam Va to the late James and Lillian Waller. He was educated in Hanover Schools.

At an early age he joined Union Baptist Church in Beaverdam, Va. He worked for Butler Construction for numerous of years. Hunting and fishing was also a favorite hobby of his. Cutting and stacking wood was also his favorite.

David was a great family man, he was the last of 18 children having eleven brothers and five sisters.

David leaves to cherished his memories his devoted wife of 36 years Ernestine Mary Waller. Five step children Charles (Emma) Jackson of Mineral, Va. Barbara (Joseph) Coles of Beaverdam , Va. Carolyn Houchens of Mineral, Va. Wade (Juanita) Jackson of Mineral, Va. Ronald Jackson of Woodford, Va

His legacy will also continue through his nine step grandkids, thirteen step great-grand kids and a step great great grandchild. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews cousins and friends.

Condolences

To my immediate family, other family members of David Waller, and friends, I am going to miss my brother-in-law. I share the pain of his loss, as well. We go way back, and all I know is David. I do know that he loved hunting, killing hogs, curing that meat, and he would always share a smoked ham/other meats with you. He would always ask me when am I going to fix him some fried potatoes, this he really loved from me. He will be truly missed. But, God knows best. He will ease the pain and will give us comfort. To Family and Friends, please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your dear love one. I can only imagine the difficult time you are going through right now. When someone we love dies, we as family and friends try very hard to comfort each other in our grief. However, our greatest comfort is from our Heavenly Father above, who tells us at 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 that he is the God of all comfort and comfort us in all our trials. He promises us through the sacrifice of his son to one day do away with death forever and wipe the tears that result from pain and suffering from our eyes (Revelation 21:3-4). We all look forward to this time when we can be reunited with those we lose to death (John 5:28-29). Sharon I will keep you and this family in my prayers.

David will be missed for his good old home cured Country Hams and smiles. We all loved David but God loved him best.
