A Time to Be Born

Donald Linwood Robinson (Tex, Booyah) was born August 28, 1960 to the late Lannie O. Robinson.

A Time to Die

Donald departed this life on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Chippenham Hospital.  Awaiting his heavenly arrival were his family.  His mother, Lannie O. Robinson, his grandparents, Lannie B. and Ollie Robinson, along with other family members.

A Time to Plant

Donald accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Doswell, VA.  He was educated in Hanover County Public Schools.

A Time to Heal and A Time to Build

Donald was a self taught mechanic and could fix anything that was brought to him.  He was quite the entrepreneur and mechanic.  He worked at Sheehy Ford and went to school in Tennessee to further his education.  He was a die hard Commanders fan.  He enjoyed watching Westerns and Sanford and Son, and very rarely did he miss any episodes.

Donald loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.  However, when he was ready for you to leave, he did not mince words to let you know that you needed to go.  He was always ready to welcome you back with open arms.  Donald was very protective of his family, especially his sister, Darlene.

A Time to Weep and Mourn

Left with precious memories and grateful hearts for having known him are his loving and devoted family, Sister, Darlene (Richard), nieces, Elizabeth, Aleemah and Joanne, great niece and nephew, Riley and Dylan, Goddaughter, Takeria, Godson, Steven, devoted cousins, Faye, Sonya, Thomas, and Donnell, countless other relatives and friends to include devoted, Arlene Trayore, Rodriquez Pleasants, Gary Walker, Brent Carter, and Robert (Nae) Johnson.
