Obituary for Eduard Taylor

Mr. Eduard Henry Taylor, was born December 28, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Edward H. and Edna L. Taylor. He was the youngest of seven children that were born to this union. Eduard entered eternal rest with his heavenly father on July 20, 2019 at the age of 72.

Eduard moved to Hampton, VA in June of 1977. Eduard accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized at Second Baptist Church of Newport News in February of 1980. Eduard retired from the City of Hampton, VA where he was a Landscaper.

Eduard leaves to cherish his memory, Portia Taylor, his wife of 41 years; four sons, Garman Williams; Kemuel Hall, Edward Hall and Dwight Hall; three sisters, Lorraine Booker, the late Mae Carthorn, and the late Helen Greene; four brothers, Demont Taylor, Lowell Middleton (Estella), the late Alvin Miller, and the late Benjamin Miller; four nephews, Maliek Carthorn (Pamela), Wayne Greene, Baron Booker, and the late Paris Booker; four nieces Cassandra White, Cheraine Middleton, Sharon Middleton and the late Rene Ridley; sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Eduard will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his dapper wardrobe, his great dance moves, and his willingness to listen. People who met him always shared their life situations with him and asked for his advice. He never took sides but tried to see the whole picture. He will be profoundly missed.
