Elaine Truong was beloved by many as a mother, daughter, and close friend.
Her free spirit invigorated all the people around her. Her eccentricity brought many laughs and forged many unbreakable relationships. Her compassion was extended to anyone in need. Her tenderness birthed a treasure to this world and its people. Even though her physical body does not remain on this Earth, her soul remains with all those she has touched.
She was born on February 24th, 1988 in Seattle. She found inspiration in her parents’ perseverance and in books, of which she avidly read. She found much success in doing what she loved, but she was not always free of worry. In tough times, she found strength from her son, parents, sisters, and brother. She never succumbed to the pressure of even the toughest of challenges or let past mistakes weigh her down and would overcome these difficulties with a smile and warm heart.
Elaine was the support, strength, and comfort for all those who knew her, and her passing will undoubtably leave a massive hole in many of our hearts and souls. However, she would not want us to be stuck in a state of perpetual grief. For all those who knew her, we must never forget all the good she brought into this world and keep her spirit alive through our collective memories.
