Mrs. Eva Mertha Rollins entered eternal rest on January 15, 2025, at her place of residence. Mrs. Eva was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jessie and Lizzie Smith of Louisa. She accepted Christ at the age of 12 and became a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Montpelier, VA. She later joined Bethany Baptist church in her adulthood and was a devoted member until her health declined. Mrs. Eva was a God-fearing woman and a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and much more. Mrs. Eva was married to the late Ewell P. Rollins. Mrs. Eva had four loving children: Geneva, Brenda, Virginia, and Joel Rollins. Her favorite pastime was going to church, cooking, gardening, sewing, dancing, reading her bible, and spending quality time with her family.

Mrs. Eva M. Rollins was preceded in death by her husband Ewell P. Rollins, daughter Virginia Rollins Davis, son Joel P. Rollins, and grandson Ronnie Holland. She leaves to cherish her memories two devoted daughters, Geneva Shelton (Howard) and Brenda Hines (Bennie). Five devoted grandchildren Kiara Harris, Mitchell Harris (Arana), Chiquitta Harris, Quincy Davis (Delaney), and Joann Holland; Great grandchildren Malakhi, Makeibe, Makori, Desiree, Messiah, Major, Malaysia, Journie, and Ralo. Two devoted sisters Marian Brooks and Vertell Lawyer and a host of other devoted cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
