Evelyn Burruss Anderson. 95, was lifted into God's arms on February 11, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar "Willie Boy" Anderson, parents Dallas "Curley" and Virginia Twisdale Burruss, four brothers, Robert (Bob), Dallas Seth,  Millard, and Sherman Burruss.

She is leaving cherished memories to three brothers, Reginald (Christine), Raymond (Gloria), and Ernest Burruss (Wanda), and two sisters, Ernestine Burruss and Cheryl Burruss Renfroe (Stephen); sister-in-law, Elsie Burruss Taylor; Brother-in-law, John Anderson (Bernice); guardian nephew, Mario Burruss; three Grandchildren, Marlon Jackson (Shimica), Cher Jackson-Lewis (Martin), and Crystal Davis;  and numerous devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be March 1, 2025 at 11:00 am, Second Baptist Church , 26725  Ruther Glen Road, Ruther Glen, Va. 22546.  Family and friends gathering 10:00 – 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at the Second Baptist Church cemetery.
