Obituary for James J. Pollard

James “Junnie” Junior Pollard of King William Va. departed this life and entered into eternal rest on November 19, 2019 at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center of Mech. At the age of 53. James was a graduate of King William High School Class of 1984.

James joined St Paul Baptist at an early age. He had a love for Music and love to DJ with his 211 “by his side”. He was Preceded in death by his sister Jacqueline Ann Pollard four aunts Queen Pollard, Shirley Taylor, Ann Bagby and Edith Pollard.

He leaves to cherish his memories Three sons Roderick and James Johnson of Mechanicsville and Damon Johnson of Richmond. Mother Mattie Pollard, Sister Geraldine Pollard of King William and Sisters Joyce and Barbara Pollard of Richmond. Two grandchildren Iesha Young and Xavier Johnson. Devoted Friend/ Mother of sons Angenita Johnson of Richmond, Devoted Family/ Friend Granville and Brenda Green Rhonda Worley, Major Spurlock and Alfred Garlick and a host of nieces and nephews

“Junnie” was a Dallas Cowboys Fan who loved to be around family and friends. He loved to cook and when he did it could feed an army. He was kind hearted and would give anyone but most of all he was a GREAT FATHER.He will forever be missed.
