Obituary for James Parker

James Thomas Parker, affectionately known to many as “Bird”, “Baby Jimmy” or “Mickey” was the youngest of four born to the late Wilbert and Alcurtis Parker, departed this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.

James joined Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age. He attended and graduated from Union High School in Bowling Green, Va.
James was known to lend a helping hand and he never met a stranger because he had a way of meeting new friends everyday.

James was proceeded in death by his parents the late Wilbert and Alcurtis Parker.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters Vanessa (Gavin) and Sierra Parker both of Stafford, VA. Grandsons Micheal “MJ” Johnson Jr. and Gavin Renwick Jr. The mother of his children and friend Penny Parker. one sister: Paulette Watson, two brothers: Richard Parker of Spotsylvania, VA and Eugene Parker (Zina) of Tappahannock, VA. Nephews: John “Junior” Watson, Eric Parker, “AJ”, Eugene, Zack and “JJ” Dandridge. One niece: Katina Parker. Several good friends but to name a few, Walter Rouse, Romeo Parker, Donald W, and Jimmy Green and a host of cousins, friends and family.
