Obituary for Jessee G. W. Morris Jr.

JESSEE G. MORRIS went home to be with his heavenly father, Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Jessee was the fifth child to be born to the late Jessee and Berter Lee Morris.

Jessee was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Morris, two brothers; Bland and Albert Morris.

Jessee was born on December 10, 1948. He received his education in the Hanover County Public School System. Jessee started working at the age of 18 for H. L. Corker and Sons where he was employed 50 years or more.

Jessee raised the biggest garden in the neighborhood and supplied everyone with greens. Jessee would help anyone that he could.

Jessee is survived by his son, Gerard Ramson, two stepchildren; Elaina Pepper and Jermaine, four grandchildren; two sisters; Estherine Jeffrey and Shirley Morris; three sister-in-law’s, Ann, Kathy Correan, and a very special friend, Carolyn Hutchen; two special nephews Garfield and Lesley. His best friends, Little Roger Nelson and Everett (Zookie) Morris and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
