STAN THE MAN GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

My condolences to the family and friends of Junior Childs, lovingly called. He will be truly missed. I could always, always depend on him for a good laugh, a big smile, cook outs and just plain fun. He always had an open ear to hear what was going on; an open heart and words to ease whatever it was that looked like trouble or pain. “Death is no enemy of man; it is a friend who, when the work of life is done, just cuts the cord that binds the human boat to earth, that it may sail on smoother seas. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy does come in the morning.” I am glad to know you are no longer suffering and in pain. I will miss your smile and will love you forever and a day, my dear cousin, rest in peace.

So many wonderful memories from my childhood to now that we shared. You were a very big part of our family for years. Such an AWESOME uncle. I remember when you and aunt Penny use to live with me. I couldn't wait for you to come home from work so I could laugh constantly. The long and personal talks that we had over the past month gives me peace at knowing that you are ok and resting in heaven. RIP UNCLE STAN THE MAN!!! l LOVE YOU. Heaven has gained an Angel with a Funkadelic SOUL!!!!!!! PS.. I still have one of your cassette tapes....
