On Monday, August 3, 2026, our hearts were deeply interrupted when our beloved Kenneth Michael Shelton Sr. (Dee) was called home to be with our Lord and Savior. Dee entered this world on April 7, 1958. He was the son of the late Clarence Sr. and Thelma Shelton.

Dee accepted Christ into his life at an early age at Providence Baptist Church where he continued to worship. He received his education in Hanover County Public Schools. He became passionate working on vehicles at a young age with close friend Butch Moore and later had a career as an auto mechanic. He was also a member of the 18 Wheelers Social Club and forever a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dee was preceded in death by his late wife Sylvia Shelton, 2 siblings, baby and baby boy Shelton, brother-in-law Michael Jackson Sr., and nephew Cedric Carter.

Dee is survived by his wife Pamela Shelton, sons Kenneth Jr. (Lacy Jay), Mario (Sarah Marie), step son Joshua Lewis, and his devoted grandchildren Makayla Marie, Jaime Lin, Kenneth III, and Mariah Maxine Shelton, his siblings Clarence Jr (Connie), Linda, Carolyn (Billy), Peter (Trish), Gordon Sr. (Karen), Felix Sr, William (Taresha), Joseph Sr., Corey Sr. (Telicia), Shannon Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
