Linwood Taliver Robinson was born to Flora Obelia Smith and Linwood Fisher in Richmond, Virginia on November 27, 1959. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 25, 2019.
Linwood leaves to cherish his memories, his loving siblings, Flora LaVern Robinson and Thomas Henry Smith III; a devoted girlfriend, Carlista Puryear, whom he loved deeply; step-father, Thomas Henry Smith, Jr.; nephews, Shawn Robinson and Dominique Faison; nieces, Ashley Monroe and LaVon Smithson; great-nieces, Ashante’ Coleman and Asia Coleman; great-nephew, Jason Coleman, Jr.; aunts, Lorraine Smith, Juanita Fisher, and Barbara Walls; uncle, Earl Robinson; and a host of loving cousins.
Linwood attended Hermitage High School where he was active in track and field and received several trophies for his achievements in the sport. He was also a very talented artist. He loved music, and his favorites were Michael Jackson and Prince.
Linwood was a great person, with a huge heart and a smile to match. He loved his family and friends, especially his mother. He talked about her all of the time. The thing that we loved most about him was that he was very giving. He would give his last to anyone who was in need. If he had it, you would have it, and you would not have to pay him back. Wherever he went, he made a friend. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
