Marvin E. Mallory affectionally known as Tritter and Papa Marvin gained his wings Wednesday July 16th, 2025

Marvin was born February 2nd, 1948, to Nancy Winston and the late Herbert Mallory. He accepted Christ at an early age at Bethany Baptist Church, and he attended Bethany schools in Hanover County. Marvin was a faithful employee of Jones Lumber Co. and Flippo Lumber Co. until his health began to fail.

Marvin was married to Carolyn Wyatt and in this union three children were born. Marvin later married Gloria Watson and in their union one child was born.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his favorite tv shows Andy Griffith, Rifleman, and Gunsmoke. Marvin loved his music, Ester Phillips, Etta James and the Sensational Nightingales were some of his favorite artists.

Marvin leaves to cherish his memories and devoted wife Gloria Mallory, children Camie, Daphne, Miranda (Derrick), Myeisha (Maurice Jr). Grandchildren Raijene, Lakia, Jasmine, Shamia, Derrick Jr, Jacques, Derkeesha, Denzel, Jayden, Jayla, and 14 Great Grand Children. Mother Nancy Winston, 2 sisters Alice Smith, Mamie Thaniel (Matthew) 6 sister in laws, 5 brothers in laws, One devoted Leroy Goodman. Aunts Mamie Johnson, Lucille Pryor and a host of nieces and nephews. Godson Malik Tyler and Devoted family/friends Quincy Robinson, Howard Morris, and Chastine Anderson.
