We celebrate the life of Nora Anderson, who peacefully transition into eternal rest on Monday morning July 14, 2025 at the Bowling Green Rehabilitation Center, Bowling Green Virginia. Nora was was born on November 14, 1951 to the late Marcellus and Quetta Anderson. Nora is the 10th child of 11 siblings.
Later in life Nora gave her life to Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was a member of St. James Baptist Church. She attend until her health wouldn't allow her to do so. Nora's heart was always with her family, whom she loved so much. During our visit she always made the best with whatever she had. She was always thankful, grateful for whatever gifts, visits and most of all Candy. She leaves to cherish her Daughter Karen Forbes of Petersburg and son Antwyne Anderson of Petersburg, Siblings: Gladys Anderson, Charles Henry Anderson, Helen Derricott, Edward Anderson Myrtle Smith all are deceased. Mattie Anderson of Henrico Virginia, Joyce Anderson of Henrico, Virginia, Levi Anderson of Ashland Virginia, Earl Anderson of Harker Heights, TX and Pamela Lewis of Ashland, Virginia. A host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nieces and cousins One living uncle, Deacon Spencer Curtis. Aunts: Reverend Iola Smith, Nanny Mines, Sylvester Dabney, Estelle Curtis and Anne Smith (all which are deceased). Two devoted nieces: Mrs. Glenda Freeman and Mrs. Doris Daniels. Ms. Resia Smithers, devoted friend.
