Octavis
Jones
Jul 20, 2006 — Nov 26, 2024
.Octavius Joseph Andre Jones, lovingly referred to as "Tay" or "Tay Tay," was born on July 20th, 2006, to Annette Vickie Jones and Joseph Andre Johnson. He was preceded in death by his mother Annette Jones, Brothers Dayvon Brewer, and Christopher Perkins.
Octavius's journey began at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School and continued through Louisa County High School, culminating in a successful graduation from Norview High School. Throughout his academic path, Octavius inspired love and admiration from his teachers and aides, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. Octavius viewed the world through a unique lens, radiating a special light that endeared him to everyone he encountered. He refused to let autism and muscular dystrophy define him; instead, they fueled his relentless drive to pursue his best life. "Tay" found joy in music and the simple pleasures of playing with recreational and therapeutic balls. His spirit thrived outdoors, where the jungle gym became a testament to his love for adventure and exploration.
"Tay" carries forward the cherished memories of his father, Joseph Johnson (Camie Mallory), his beloved sisters, Shanice Perkins, Dominique Jones, and Ebony Perkins, and his brothers, Melik Perkins and Shawn Brewer. His uncles "Buggy," Michael (Barbara) Johnson, Nelson (Lynn) Brooks, Caesar Brooks, Willie Johnson, Calvin Brooks, and Richard Brooks. Along with his aunts, Tina Brooks, Rachel Anderson, Louise Stanley, and many relatives and friends.
