Otis Brown, born April 17, 1954, entered into eternal rest on August 11, 2025.

Otis was the son of the late Alleyne Francis Brown Thomas. He was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta; grandmother, Nancy; his grandson, Jerome Jr., his son, Jerome, and brother-in-law Herbert Sr.

Otis was educated in the Henrico County Public Schools. He held may different jobs over the years and enjoyed working. Throughout his life, God blessed Otis with the strength to overcome many trials. He survived a life-threatening car accident, two slight heart attacks, multiple strokes, and bouts of aspiration pneumonia. In his late 60s, he made the most important decision of his life—accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was reminded often by his family and friends of how deeply Jesus loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his stepfather, Clifton Thomas; his daughter, Adrienne his grandsons, Michael, Jeremiah, and Justin; his great-granddaughters Nova and Journi; his great-grandson, Michael Jr.; his sisters, Estelle (Eugene) and Josephine (Leroy); his brother, Calvin; his loving caregivers, Jonathan and Barbara; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
