Richard Stevens
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard Stevens of Henrico, Virginia, who departed this life peacefully on June 15, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by his loving family.
Richard was born on April 18, 1948, in Braddock, Pennsylvania, to the late Daniel and Margaret Stevens. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Richard lived a life commitment to his family and community. He spent 20 years with Westinghouse Electric Corporation and later retired from Alstom Power after 18 years of dedicated service.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Cheryl Stevens; his daughters Dominique Young (William) and Angela Springs; and his cherished grandchildren, Bryson and Blyss. He is also survived by his siblings, Daniel Stevens III (Anna) and Lavern Stevens; in-laws Linda Dimps (Alfred); Angela Rook and Shelia Hudnell (Alan); special aunts, Shirley Gillus and Catherine Williams and many beloved extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Otis and David Stevens.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all family, friends, neighbors, caregivers, Village of Faith Ministries, and Virginia Credit Union for their unwavering love, support, and prayers during this time.
