Roy Linwood Ford Jr. was born on October 13th, 1947, and transitioned on October 29th, 2025. Roy was the eldest son of the late Mr. Roy L Ford Sr. and Dorothy Terrell. Roy Lindwood Ford Jr. peacefully entered eternal rest. Roy loved the lord. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a peaceful, strong and hardworking man. Roy owned his business; Ford Do-It-All Paving. There is not a parking lot or driveway in Richmond or the surrounding counties that Ford Do -It-All Paving didn't touch in some way. Including this church, St. James Baptist, he paved this parking lot years ago.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Regina Ford, three loving daughters, [Devoted] Kimberly Renae Eberhardt, RoiLisa Derico, and Summer. As well as nine living sons, [Devoted] James Eberhardt, Roy L. Ford III, Eugene Ford, Elroy Ford, Donell Ford, Michael Ford, Antonio Ford, and Daquan. Reuniting in heaven with his beloved son Christopher Ford. Twenty-six grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Roy is survived by his loving siblings, Doris Ferrell (Frank), Patricia Dabney (David), Carolyn Ford, and James Ford. One Devoted niece Karen Ford Gibson. Two sisters in love, Mrs. Susan Ford and Mrs. Vanessa Ford.
