Shirley M. Jackson was born on August 30, 1950. In Montpelier Virginia to the late Walter Thomas and Marie Woodson Thomas. Shirley Jackson joined Bethany Baptist Church at an early age. Shirley was educated in Hanover County Public Schools. She was once employed at Taco Bell.
Shirley was a very high spirited energetic person, she loved family feud, Red Foxx, and the Jefferson’s. Shirley was a shopper loved going shopping at Walmart, and cooking for her children’s. You could count on breakfast at 4:00 am and dinner at 5:00pm. Her favorite meal were fish.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Mitchell Thomas and Mother Marie Woodson Thomas, brother Walter William Thomas Sr and Robert Thomas Sr.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her husband Willie Jackson Sr; daughters Jacqueline Thomas(Mickie) of Mineral VA, Barbara Jackson(James) and Brenda Jackson of Richmond VA, one son, Willie Jackson Jr of Louisa VA. Six sisters; Lorita Morris(Darryl) of Richmond VA, Gloria Jackson(Daniel)of Bumpass VA, Glady’s Thomas of Richmond VA, Doris Thomas of Richmond VA, Alice Thomas of Richmond VA, Cecelia Woodson(Henry)of Louisa VA. Five brothers, James Thomas of Montpelier VA, Jerry Thomas(Cheryl) of Montpelier VA, Earnest Thomas(Glenda)of Louisa VA, Calvin Thomas(Rose) of Montpelier VA, and Cecil Thomas(Nicole)of New Jersey. Six Aunts, three Uncles, eight grandchildren’s, 2 great grandchildren’s. A Host of nieces and nephews. One devoted friend, Robert Woodson of Louisa VA.
