Thomas "Tommy" B. Jackson departed this life on January 10, 2026. He was born on July 12, 1954 to the late Berkeley Lee Jackson and the late Millie Mae Thomas Jackson at St. Philips Hospital in Richmond, VA. He attended Louisa County Public Schools.

Tommy joined Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Charles Sims and was a faithful member during his youth and teenage years. Tommy had many talents and hobbies to include playing the saxophone and art. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his time in the service he was stationed at the Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. He was later stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in NC and he also served a tour of duty in the Philippines and was honorably discharged.

After completing his service in the military, he lived and worked in Texas for a while. He later returned to Virginia where he was employed in several positions, one of which was at the McGuire VA Hospital which he took great pride in.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Terry, Anthony and Charles. He leaves to cherish his memory: his son Nicholas, brother Albert Jackson, sister Jennifer Jackson Bishop (Henry - Deceased), cousin Cleveland Rayfield Mallory (Elbertanna) and cousin Cecil Mallory. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
