Viola Robinson of Henrico
County, Virginia entered eternal rest
at the Memorial Regional Hospital in
Mechanicsville on December 31, 2024.
She was born to the late Richard and
Inez James.

After graduating from high school, Viola pursued a career
in healthcare by attending St. Mary's nursing program. She
later found employment in healthcare as she worked as a
nurse in local retirement facility.

Viola married the love of her life, Joseph J. Robinson, on
December 24, 1960. From this union two children were
born: Joseph J. Robinson, Jr., and Margaret Robinson.
Viola also loved her stepsons, Gilbert Cousin and Kenneth
Tyler, who preceded her in death.

Viola's extended family includes her daughter-in-law,
Christine Moye Robinson; sisters-in-law, Ruth Robinson,
Cora Woodson, Bertha Robinson, Myrtle Shelton, Susie
Robinson, and Mildred Spindle; brothers-in-law, Thomas
Robinson (deceased) and Douglas Robinson; granddaughter,
Serina Olds; son-in-law, Travon Olds; grandchildren, Joseph
J. Robinson III, Sariah Olds, and Serenity Olds; and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
