Raymond Leo Waters, Sr. after living a dedicated life to God, his family, church family and community went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 27, 2026. Pastor Ray was born on May 7, 1963 in Brooklyn New York to the late Ralph Leo Waters and Callie McMillan Waters. At a young age he moved to Louisa, Va to live with his aunt and uncle Isaac and Mildred Webb. Pastor Ray grew up in Louisa County and graduated from Louisa high school where he also played football. Pastor Ray gave his life to the Lord in his early twenties and was a member of the Mt. Hope Baptist church in Bumpass Va. Pastor Ray subsequently married Pastor Vicki and together with their family attended Lighthouse Christian Center in Highland Spring Va where he served as associate Pastor alongside with Pastor Vicki.

Ministry
Along with his wife Pastor Vicki they founded (HEALTH&WEALTH} ministry – “Husband enjoying and Loving their helpers and Wives enjoying and loving their husbands”. They co-authored their first book, “Sanctified F.R.E.A.K. (God, Marriage and Sexual Intimacy).
Love of Sports/Music
Any one who knows Pastor Ray knows that he loved football. He played in high school and played with the Richmond Renegades. In addition to that he had a tryout with a Canadian team. His favorite team is the Redskins, now known as the Commanders. He was an avid football fan and could tell you all kind of stats about his football team and others as well. He enjoyed all genre of music but his favorite was Jazz.
Pastor Ray was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Callie Waters, guardians Isaac and Mildred Webb, brother Lenwood McMillan, Father and Mother in law, Thomas and Alice Brown, and Godparents Elvis (Butch) and Ann Butler.
As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather (dude) to his grandkids he leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Vicki Tyler-Waters, son Raymond Leo Waters, Jr. (RJ) and daughter in-love(Tessia Waters), daughter Aliceyn Joy Waters, three grandchildren, Raymond III, Londynne, and Amaris, sister Doris Harrison(Leon), sister-in-law Valerie Graves(Harry - devoted friend), three nieces, Dorlena Brown(Kevin), Tristen Franklin(Leonard), Jocelyn Graves, two great nephews, Elijah Brown and Ezra Franklin and great niece, Kayleigh Brown, our Lighthouse Christian Center family who has loved and supported us for over 35 years and a host of family, friends, coworkers and ministry partners.
